Facebook now supports group video calls and already introduced a new feature to perform group conversations in the Annex Messenger. The huge consumer interest in it is the reason for the company’s desire to integrate into the desktop version of the social network. In this way, Facebook hopes to become a bigger competitor to Skype and Google Hangouts in the field of video communication. We are currently conducting tests with a limited number of users that can work with this functionality, reports TechRadar.
Facebook now supports group video calls
After logging into their Facebook profiles from the preferred web browser they can start a group conversation by clicking a new icon in the shape of a telephone handset. This function works the same way as the identical option in Facebook Messenger. The most serious advantage is that there is no need to install additional applications, simply open a web browser and start working with it. Still, we do not know how long it takes on Facebook, to enable all users to benefit from the new functionality.
The company hopes that this will facilitate our maximum, allowing you to do group chats with friends, colleagues and family on a platform that they all use. In parallel with this on Facebook develop new tools to hide some of the ads in our profiles. The idea here is not to see messages that can trigger bad memories. So each of us can choose specific topics that do not want to be displayed in his personal account on Facebook.
